THE KONG DRACULA SHOW

(working title)

FEATURE FILM

Written by Kjell Hammerø & Knut Halle

THE KONG DRACULA SHOW (working title): When Torbjorn leaves his friends at a theatre group because of creative differences, he sets out to make his own stage-show with his greatest hero – King Kong – as the main character.

He hires a poor street musician, Einar, to play the part of King Kong. But with Torbjorn - who has extremely low work-ethics and no talent what so ever at the helm - it goes terribly wrong. His show ends in total embarrassment, and he gets laughed out by his former friends from the theatre group.

Torbjorn blames his main actor for the failure. He decides to make another stage-show with another hero of his; Dracula. He hires a new actor, Sillvall, for the part.

Meanwhile, Einar suspects Torbjorn of making a show without him, and driven by jealousy he starts stalking Torbjorn and Sillvall to find out what`s going on behind his back.

It builds up to a new show for Torbjorn with Sillvall as Dracula on the stage. But Einar has his own plans. Einar is in a psychosis, and when he gets into the character of King Kong and crashes the Dracula-show to claim the place he feels is rightfully his, Torbjorn gets more than he bargained for.

Genre: Drama/Comedy

Running time: Approximately 90 minutes.
